Nissan has released one obscure teaser image to date.  Having spent a fair amount of time scrutinizing the shadowy image, Norris Nissan West can say the next-gen Nissan Pathfinder appears to be sculpted in such a way that makes the SUV look like it's speeding down the highway at 90 miles per hour. In a word it's energized.

We also thought, we saw a roof rack fading into the black. However, this didn't really seem to match the rest of the Nissan Pathfinder's sexy, new silhouette. In taking a closer look, it looks to be a piece of raised glass - too big to be a moon roof.

What could it be? A video short recently released by Nissan alludes to a panoramic glass roof. Just as mysterious as the image, it simply features the sky in motion, progressing from morning to night.

Happily, we won't have to guess on the vehicle's details for much longer. The next-generation Nissan Pathfinder is set to debut at the North American International Auto Show, this January.
